Work in progress – an on going series.
The balls at sea appear to be buoy like, perhaps signalling danger lying just beneath the surface.
The balls act as a mode of transport the couple can only move forward if they help each other. Embracing increases the chances of peril. Perhaps they are safer staying alone and sedentary.
They are at the mercy of the sea and can be swept away at any time.
