Police Tease

A wearable art piece that pushes the boundaries with authority, the police and law. Can you be arrested if wearing offensive weaponry if they are part of a couture dress? The answer is yes, and Joanna was.

Joanna moulded and cast weapons in fibreglass and then covered them meticulously in leather using hundreds of tiny hand stitches and then incorporated them into a part transparent part leather dress. Each weapon was attached with a beautiful black silk bow at the point of it converging with the outfit.

The dress incorporated an axe, a knife, a gun, a hammer, a catapult, nun chucks and a crossbow.

Though the weapons were false they looked real.
Joanna was not charged with an offence and released from police custody with a caution.
